About Linn Haven Family Farm
Our History
Linn Haven Family Farm was founded in 2020. We are located in Lacomb, Oregon. For years our family had dreamed of owning enough land to grow our own food and get away from all the additives and processed foods that we see in today's market. Our little family was growing, and we knew we couldn't stay in town where we were. Through a lot of searching and house shopping in a tough market, we were surprised and blessed when Whitney's parents called and said the neighbors were selling. Rewind to 2013, when Whitney's parents bought their property. The first time we drove up the driveway, we looked at the neighbor's place and told ourselves, "If that property ever comes up for sale, we need to buy it." So fast forward to the present day, that property that we dreamed of years ago, is now the home to Linn Haven Family Farm. our family is blessed to be able to live off our land and raise pure, simple, food the natural way, and to know what we put in our bodies, and to live a much healthier lifestyle with the food we consume. Our next dream is to pass on the amazing benefits of natural raised meat, eggs, and livestock, to you.
About US
Linn Haven Family Farm is a family owned and operated farm. We are a family of four, Randy, Whitney, and the 2 girls Melody and Joselyn. We live to farm, and we love what we do. We all take part in the farm on a day to day. We take pride in raising natural, healthy, and happy livestock. To us, family comes first, and we believe that all livestock on our farm should be treated as family. Our animals have the best life we can give them. All of our animals are raised on green pasture with a mix of nourishing native grasses as well as wooded paddocks with majestic Douglas fir, Oak, and Ash trees. The pigs and Chickens particularly enjoy foraging through the wooded areas, in search of grubs, acorns, wild hazelnuts, and mushrooms. The cattle and turkeys enjoy the lush, irrigated grasses and seed heads produced from them. Part of keeping healthy, happy livestock, is giving them options when it comes to mealtime. Let's face it, none of us want to eat one thing for the rest of our lives. on the farm we supplement our animals daily forage and grazing with locally raised and ground feed. The feed we buy is farmed locally and milled 20 minutes from our farm. Here at Linn Haven Family Farm, we are committed to provide the best, healthiest, natural and nourishing food for our family, and it is our desire and goal to share this amazing food with your family.

Broiler Chickens
Our broiler chickens are Cornish Cross breed and our hatched by Jenks Hatchery in Tangent Oregon, Americas oldest hatchery. Our chickens are raised on fresh grass and clover everyday and are never confined like the big factory's. They have full access to sun and shade every day. We supplement feed with a non GMO corn and soy free protein crumble that is sourced locally. Raising chickens on pasture is very sustainable and productive to the ground we live on. The chickens control harmful bugs and pest while returning nutrients to the soil. The best part of raising chickens in this manner, is the taste. It is the best tasting chicken hands down, and is good for you too. We raise and process our chickens right here on the farm and we sell them for $25 a piece, or if you buy 5 or more they are $20 a piece. Heritage Pork Shares
At Linn Haven Family Farm we take a lot of pride in our heritage pork. We raise American Guinea Hogs on pasture and woodlot. This breed of pig is amazing and renown for the pasture grazing capabilities of their lifestyle. They are a slower growing pig compared to the commercial breeds, but it is worth the wait. This breed lives a lifestyle very comparable to beef and it shows in the final product. Unlike your commercial breeds found in the grocery store, these pigs will have a red meat and a marble in the meat similar to beef. And let me tell you the taste is incredible. Once you try this pork, you'll never look at pork in the store the same again. Many chefs and culinary experts are turning to this breed for the high quality and flavor of meat they produce. This breed is also notorious for the pure lard they produce which is used in baking and soap making. As a heritage breed, they do tend to grow out a bit smaller than the typical commercial breeds, coming in around 200 pounds live weight at harvest. Heritage Turkey
One of our favorite animals on the farm is probably our heritage breed turkeys. The girls love talking to them and they talk back too! its always fun to see them slightly confused when the native turkeys take a stroll through the yard. We raise Narragansett and Red Bourbon turkeys. These birds love strolling around the property and eating the various seeds and berries. Turkey is a great source of protein and a fantastic alternative to store bought beef. The flavor of free range turkey is something that simply cannot be matched by industrial poultry farming. Egg Products
We sell a few different varieties of eggs here at Linn Haven Family Farm. All of our eggs are free range and collected daily, candled, and refrigerated to bring you the freshest and best eggs possible. Our chickens are supplemented with a fermented feed blend as well that keeps them healthy and happy all year round. Chicks / Poults / Weaner Pigs
Want to get in on the fun and raise your own livestock? We offer chicks for sale as well as turkey poults and weaner pigs. We do Have a minimum and maximum for chicks and poults and is dependent on our inventory. Chicks can be ordered and hatched in about 30 days. Turkeys will only lay a certain amount of eggs per year, and unlike chickens, only lay at certain times a year. We currently have a few weaner pigs available as well.
